Meet Brandon Horta, Your Next Cyber Security Professional  

Cyber Security isn't just my profession - this work is also deeply personal to me. I have always enjoyed the realm of information technology,  and cyber defense techniques involved with maintaining secure and reliable communications. From the starting age of a pre-teenager, I was primarily self-trained and self-driven to improve and hone my skills in the field. The US Army has allowed me to apply my passion to develop on technologies, and apply them to the securities which enhance the defense of our nation's operations. 

Throughout my career I have been placed in several roles of responsibility which encompassed the supervisions of small to large teams of personnel, which involved the management of their conduct and performance to their future training management requirements to improve the organization and their skillsets henceforth. I have been regarded as a humble leader to the organization, with a very approachable demeanor, with one of the most well rounded and passionate motivation to apply to any task at hand.

As a Cyber Security professional of the United States Army with a M.S. in Cyber Security, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Top-Secret SCI clearance in addition to being SANS industry trained and certified on incident response and enterprise defense techniques. I blend the best of interdisciplinary cyber security and informational technology skill sets with the senior level leadership skills the Army has flourished with a capability to build resounding interpersonal relationships in and out of the service uniform.
